Cotswold Wildlife Park Photography Course

I was looking for some photography classes in the Oxford area, I was particularly interested in learning more about the technical side of photography. I came across John’s website whilst searching on Google. I was immediately impressed with his work and loved his style of imagery. I booked a 1:1 session with John, and I am so pleased I did. The knowledge he shared with me has been so beneficial to my work and to the growth on my photography business. There wasn’t anything John didn’t know, or couldn’t help me with. I learnt so much in the short time I spent with him. We spoke about the theoretical side of things and then followed that through with practical exercises, this really helped me to learn and remember what he had taught me. Since my initial 1:1 I have had another session with John, and again he was great at understanding some of the issues I was experiencing and helped me to learn how to correct these. I would recommend anyone who is interested in Photography to have a workshop with him, he really has helped me develop and learn a lot as a newly set up photographer. John has great knowledge across the fields of photography and whether you are interested in either the creative side of things, or the technical, he will be sure to help you develop in either area

We found choosing a photographer very difficult, we looked at so many other photographer's website but his stood out. I loved his creative natural style and I barely noticed him throughout the day. He's amazing at making you feel at ease and he really made me confident on what can be a self-conscious day. 

We really enjoyed having John as our wedding photographer. The couple's shoot was extremely enjoyable, none of our shots felt posed at all and I think looking at the photographs our personalities really shine through. We are currently trying to decide what photographs we want in the album, it really is hard choice given that we love so many.  We have recommended him to everyone we know getting married and he will be photographing my sister's wedding next year. 

John managed to capture everything that I didn't see on the wedding day. The photograph he captured of Oscar waiting for me at the altar, is my personal favourite. 

I really enjoyed my one to one workshop with John. I thought I knew how to use my camera but it turns out that I barely knew anything about it. John is an amazing teacher, he's so willing to help you even if it means repeating the same information a dozen times. I have already booked myself onto the Cotswold's Safari Park workshop!
